Greenford had a special interest, not the usual interest you would expect, like collecting stamps, playing video games, or going fishing; no - Greenford was interested in everything green. He loved the green grass so much that he had a soft green grass laid throughout his house instead of a carpet. He loved green leaves, all the different shapes and shades of green; he just couldn’t get enough, so he wallpapered his whole house in green leaves. He had lovely oak leaves in his sitting room, he had green ash leaves in his bedroom, beech leaves covering the bathroom walls and elm leaves in his kitchen (Errh).

Everything in Greenford’s house was green - especially him. He was olive green and he loved being this vibrant colour. Greenford was a very kind hog; he made lovely pies, made of green apples and pears. He made the crust green on the pies, but no one knew how he did that. Greenford would be so nice to the other pigs on Rainbow Farm and treat them to his green soup with green bread. Everyone new if you wanted something made in green, Greenford was the hog to go and see. Sunny and Snuggles were sitting in their bean bags one sunny day and eating their delicious green cookies they got from Greenford, when they realized that Greenford didn’t have a bean bag like them.

They wanted to thank Greenford for all the lovely green treats they got from him, so they decided to make a bean bag for Greenford. Sunny asked,   “What colour to do think it should be Snuggles?” trying not to laugh and Snuggles replied “Very funny Sunny, now let’s get as much green things as we can and make Greenford a bean bag!” So they went and collected lots of green leaves, moss, and green feathers from the odd but very lovely green feathered chickens that Greenford kept. They collected as much as they could carry and brought it over to Snuggles mum. “Hi mum can you help us make a bean bag for Greenford like me and Sunny have?” Snuggles mum said “of course I will my dears, now what colour you two think it should be?” “Ha-ha very funny!” said Sunny and Snuggles at the same time.  Sunny, Snuggles and mum spend all night sewing and stuffing, until they had made a lovely and very green bean bag.

All three of them wrapped the bean bag in (you guessed it) green wrapping paper and went over to Greenford’s house.  He was out in the garden picking his favourite green vegetables which were cabbage, spinach and Brussels sprouts.  Greenford saw them coming and said “Hello Sunny and Snuggles how are you this fine green morning?” Snuggles and Sunny full of excitement said “We have a surprise for you, take a look!” and they both pointed to the large package all wrapped in green wrapping paper. Greenford said “Oh for me, but it’s not even my birthday”. Snuggles and Sunny explained that they got him a present for just being a wonderful friend. Greenford opened the gift and his eyes lit up when he saw what they had got him. He was so touched by their wonderful gift they had made for him and thanked them with a big hug.  Snuggles and Sunny said before they left “you haven’t got any more green cookies have you”?!
